About Us
Milawa (M) Sdn Bhd (368054-W) is an importer and distributor of wines. We are currently importing wines from Australia , USA , France , Italy , Spain , Portugal , New Zealand , and Chile . The company has been in operations since 1996 and has thus far managed to position itself as the largest independent Australian wine importer for the Malaysian market. Apart from the Kuala Lumpur office, we also have representations in Pulau Pinang and Langkawi.
Brief History
The company was incorporated on the 21 st November 1995 and commenced operations in 1996. The name Milawa is synonymous to a wine growing region in Australia . Over the years of operations, we have managed to position ourselves as a major player in the various segments of the industry such as hotels, restaurants, wholesalers, retail and liquor shops as well as prominent individual buyers.
Our company corporate logo denotes the combination all the strengths of its three directors depicted by the three bottles positioned side by side and the outer design symbolizes the seal of strength in terms of support and reliability towards our customers.
Market Positioning
Milawa is regarded as a reliable and consistent supplier in the various sectors of the target market. Our area of brand building our products is second to none in terms of hosting wine events such as tastings, dinners, customer appreciation functions and monthly warehouse functions. We have been able to reach our customers with utmost professionalism and impeccable service owing to our company's primary focus of direct “Relationship Management”. We believe that the primary differentiation of our competitors' products in a largely generic wine market can only be derived from having identifiable brands and efficient customer relationship management.
Service
We are able to provide various services for the corporate clientele due to our extensive network of hotels and restaurant relationships. Our experience as a major supplier in the Food and Beverage industry would enable us to provide the distinctive service of organizing events at hotels and restaurants of the client's choice. Apart from this, we also specially organize wine tasting functions for our customers and dedicated wine dinners.
In line with the festive and auspicious seasons, we also supply wine hampers and gift packs that are decoratively designed and competitively priced for door to door delivery within the Klang Valley and Pulau Pinang.
As part of our emphasis to cater to the corporate clientele in a more discerning manner, we have also introduced the concept of beverage catering. This concept entails the supply of all beverages ranging from soft drinks, spirits, beer, wine and ice for any privately held function at the choice of the customer. As an added advantage, all glassware would also be made available for the function.
